In a bid to include Environment protection in the rehabilitation programmes of the Uganda prisons, Greenings activities were launched by MUBS Principal, Prof. Wasswa Balunywa in 2012 with sensitization talks to Luzira Prison Community,(Prison officials, inmates (Prisoners) and neighbours) all this followed by massive tree planting in the Prison. This is to cover all prisons in Uganda, The Effort was spearheaded by Hajjat Sebyala together with MUBS and supported by ROOFINGS LTD — A total of 500 trees so far planted
